    During his tenure, Garland has led several large-scale residential projects, including a notable 122-unit multi-residential development and several smaller developments of 98, 45, and 46 units. His leadership has propelled Lexington Land Developers' growth and supported the launch of other businesses, exemplified by his funding of the startup Reed Concrete.

He actively volunteers with the Boy Scouts and supports various local charities, including school fundraisers, his church, and fire departments.
